Product tours are nowadays widely used to simplify the complexities, hand-holding users and helping them realize the value of the technology.

To validate my thoughts, I kick-started a conversation on DesignerNews.co – “Are Product tours replacing regular User Onboarding.” I did get some interesting comments from the community which became one of the reasons for this article. So, I took those ideas and combined some from my months of research, and painted a clear picture of the Interactive Product Tour.
