At 19 I started a SaaS company in my dorm room and just sold it in February after my 25th birthday. Over the companies life, we raised $2,500,000 in venture capital, drove $5,000,000 in sales (mainly by cold emailing potential partners), and grew our customer base to over 10,000 paying customers.

As I educated myself on SaaS metrics (I studied Architecture so have no formal business education), attended conferences, and engaged in masterminds with other entrepreneurs, I found it incredibly hard to benchmark how my company was doing against other SaaS companies.

As a result, I started collecting data manually through one on one interviews with the worlds Top Entrepreneurs, and just started publishing those interviews so others could learn. This article will focus exclusively on Software as a Service, SaaS. Here is a categorized list of all 250+ interviews I’ve done spanning 15+ business models.

Here’s what you’ll get in this blog post:
1 Top of article: 11 SaaS companies and their SaaS metrics
2 Then: 20+ (Even more!) SaaS companies and their metrics in edit-able Google Spreadsheet
3 Then: Quick way to figure out how much your SaaS company is worth
4 Lastly: Fastest way to build a $100MM SaaS company
